I highly recommend a visit to this outstanding old twin lighthouse. The building is a treasure and there is an exceptional view of Sandy Hook and the coastline.
It's a cool place. Cool building. Very good views from the top of the Lighthouse.
This place is wonderful it's a great place for a picnic lunch or just to hike or just to hang out and relax and enjoy nature. The view is incredible. You can also hike to the top of both lighthouses. Great place to bring a date to
The road to get to the lighthouse is quite steep and very narrow which opens up to a relatively large parking lot. Nice views from the top of the lighthouse. My understanding is that only one of the two towers is open at a time. At the base between the two towers is a small gift shop and a museum section. On my particular visit it had a display of various historical American flags.
Great historical place. Looks like a castle. Not easy to find. Use GPS. Parking available. Bring families and friends and kids.
