Great way to get to New York City, Rhode Island and more. We took the ferry directly to the Mets game. The views from the boat are awesome and there's no better way to get to the game.

First time using SeaStreak from Atlantic Highlands in the event of a NJT Strike. The 7:30am was packed and hardly any seats and cannot fathom standing for a 50-minute ride and paying close to $50 RT every day. The parking situation is a disheveled mess and since it's a first come / first serve basis, one needs to take an earlier ferry to guarantee a spot not a 1/4 mile away from the boat. The schedule for midtown during rush hour is seriously lacking accessibility to make it a cost-effective/timely commute. As someone who gets out at 5pm (Madison Ave/53rd), you have to wait around til 5:55pm. To be honest, commuting by bus into NYC is quicker and half the price. No wonder I ride with so many ex-ferry commuters.

Not a bad departure point to New York. The terminal has a small bar for while you wait. They were very accommodating with parking as we were not sure what day we would be back from New York.

Very poor experience - staff was not knowledge when we called and they change their schedule often. They even cancelled one trip when we called the night before. Just drive it is way easier. If you want to tour the harbor find another company.

I have done it all, bus, train, and ferry. By far the best way to get in and out of the city. However the parking needs some attention and the bathrooms, well forget it. Parking is a free for all and no one obeys the signage. Can't wait for the new boats... Then maybe 5 star.
