It is a great joy to visit the historical sites in this area. Clean beaches including a beach for natural nudists. Well maintained paths for walking and biking. Scenic views of New York Harbor. Responsive park rangers and well informed guides.
Sandy Hook beaches. Bike trails. Fishing. Hiking. So much more. Beautiful views. Beach was clean when I was there. Great photography opportunities too.
Great recreation area. Very busy in the summer. Parking can fill up on great beach days. Yes there is a nude beach.
The best beaches on the east coast. Miles of deserted beaches to enjoy. Great for birdwatching and hiking. Miles of bike trails. Beware of overzealous Park Rangers who thugishly operate with little supervision. Stick to park rules and take your trash home!
